    No, because when she was 6, Oprah moved in with her mother and half sister from her grandmother and she suffered both physical and mental abuse from family members and friends of her family.

    Was Sidney Poitier an inspiring for her? How?

    Yes, because Sidney Poitier has a connected even eith Oprah but manage to receive an Academy Award. this make Oprah triying so hard to became a successfull woman.
